Basic Algebra
Learn some of the basic algebra skills and build a strong foundation before you tackle more advanced math topics. In just 4 units you’ll feel a lot more confident when speaking the math language.
Unit 1: Fractions
Define fractions and their different representations. Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions. Learn the Least Common Denominator and simplify fractions.
Unit 2: Exponents
Define exponents and learn how to identify their parts. Perform multiplication and division of exponents with equal bases. Simplify expressions with multiple exponents and fraction exponents. Re-write negative exponents and understand the zero exponent.
Unit 3: Rules of signs
Perform additions and subtractions applying the correct sign operations. Obtain the corresponding sign in the answer for multiplications and divisions.
Unit 4: Order of Operations
Solve problems involving multiple operations. Apply the correct order to obtain the right answer.
